AND LIKE A BOLT OUT OF THE BLUE the United States is now looking to table a bid for a round of the World Rally Championship. As any follower
of rallying and the WRC is aware there is already 16 rounds, with Ireland, Norway
and Portugal having already thrown their hats in the ring, the question has to be asked: can the WRC take the extra rounds? Word has it that another four countries are considering bids and the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile is understood to be considering a round for Africa and one for Asia.
