LAST WEEKEND saw the launch of Sheikh Hasher Maktoum’s A1 Grand
Prix at Brands Hatch in England. He has been quoted elsewhere as saying that
this new form of racing is not in direct competition with Bernie Ecclestone’s F1
and, if anything, could complement it and supply it with the next generation
of F1 drivers.
